The slow paced Cycladic way of living
Parïlio, the name of which is derived from Paros and the Greek word for the sun (ïlios), is a 33 suite retreat characterized by Paros timeless simplicity surrounded by amber-hued fields, araucaria trees and the blue waters of the Aegon Sea.
With its mountainous heaps, pine-fringed coves and white-washed fishing villages, Parïlio is a timeless beauty.
The designer used base materials like concrete, terracotta floors and local marble in a quiet colour palette of white, grey, ochre and sienna and a mix of bespoke furnishings, vintage finds and contemporary design pieces.
Here, amongst 33 suites, the past, present and to an extent the future are seamlessly merged in a celebration of this fabled Greek escape. The Suites are spacious, have their own terrace and some an outdoor private Jacuzzi or private pool.
The enormous cross shaped swimming pool is highlighted by the two rocks built into the sides. There is an Asian boutique Spa with two treatment rooms, Mr E restaurant serving Mediterranean and seasonal Greek dishes and a pool side bar.

- Designed by the Athens-based Interior Design Laboratorium and led by Kalia & Antonis Eliopoulos, behind Vedema, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mystique, a Luxury Collection Hotel & Istoria, a Member of Design Hotels in Santorini, Parīlio is informed in its entirety by this north-western corner of the island, its landscape, history and mythology.
- The imposing cross-shaped pool is highlighted by two impressive rocks, bounded by loungers and the cycladic natural environment, lends itself for utter relaxation.
