Luxury 15 ensuite bedroom country house
Fazenda Nova Country House is a luxury boutique Manor House that has been faithfully restored and renovated to adapt to modern living. One of the last original Grand Houses of the Algarve if not Portugal.
There are fifteen bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, set in stunning landscaped grounds. Featured in US Vogue and described by Monocle Magazine as ‘Achingly Cool’. Fazenda Nova is often used as a location for Fashion and Magazine shoots.
The house boasts two large lounges with polished concrete floors, fireplaces, dining area, extra bathrooms, bar and a vinyl library. Stepping outside there is an outdoor dining area, a man-made beach complete with daybeds and Volleyball net next to a saltwater swimming pool, petanca area, an orchard and vegetable gardens and sea views.
The house sits in the middle 10 hectares of land, surrounded by Olive trees hundreds of years old. Originally a working farm estate there are olive trees, carobs and almonds. High-quality Olive Oil is still produced today and available for guests.
Located close to Faro, with stunning beaches in proximity (8 minutes by car) 20 minutes from Tavira and the resorts of Quinta Do Lago and Vale do Lobo.

Fazenda Nova is set in the heart of the Eastern Algarve just fifteen minutes from the historic and beautiful town of Tavira. Twenty five minutes from Faro airport.
Tavira sits on the river Gilao with a plethora of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. In the centre by the Roman bridge is an amphitheatre that hosts summer concerts and festivals. An attractive town with grand buildings, a central square, pretty gardens and places to sit.
The coastline falls within the Ria Formosa Natural Park, great for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts. The estuary of the Formosa forms a series of islands – Farol, Culatra, Armona, Tavira and Fuseta – fabulous places to take a boat trip and just wile away the hours with island life.
There is so much to see and do in the area. All the towns and villages offer something different – the coastine is truly beautiful and worth exploring. Olhao, Fuseta, Santa Luzia, Santa Catarina are all special places to visit whether you want to head to the markets, up into the hills, take a stroll by the waterfront, a water taxi to the Islands, or just sit with a beer or coffee and watch the World pass by.
